Operation Food Freedom Wageningen

We are a group of six students/graduates of Wageningen University. Although our team is split upon various fields of study (plant science, food technology, nutrition and health, landscape architecture, organic agriculture), we are all connected by a single vision: food should be healthy, sustainable and fresh. We thus strive to create a better food system, one where locality of produce is a key player in obtaining this. Shortening the food chain by connecting regional farmers and consumers is an ideal way of achieving so! Through OFF Wageningen we have bonded together to provide fresh food packages gathered from a network of Dutch farmers, creating a win-win situation for both farmer and consumer.
